Michael Francis Maloney

Michael Francis Maloney holds a M.A. in English Literature from the University of Toronto. He has taught theatre arts and creative writing at Seneca College in Toronto, and has appeared as an actor and singer on stage, radio, television and film.

He has also spoken and written extensively on environmental matters and has co-authored two in-course college textbooks.

Since childhood, Mike has always had a great love of drawing, and he has illustrated two Pierswell Press books: Singing for the Joy of It and Songs and Poems for Children.

Currently he is appearing with his wife Joan Goddard Maloney in concerts, on stage and television, most recently on Salt and Light Television in Canada and the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) in the United States. He is also, with Joan, giving dramatic readings of The Butterfly Tree.

Mike lives with his wife and their pug Finbar in Simcoe, Ontario.
